Very Special Day...

Today my baby girl was born 6 short years ago.  Since then life has been pink and purple and dresses and babies.  She is amazingly stubborn, silly and sweetly shy. She is curious and thoughtful.  And she wants to be so grown up.
Looking at her today I almost can not remember how little she once was.  She was once so helpless, so quiet.  Not anymore. Today she is just independent enough to make us both proud and frustrated.  She is tough enough to give herself a black eye but still keep playing, and confident enough to argue her own thoughts.  It's amazing being her mom.
